In my work, I empower women to take control of their own health.

I love it when women know WHY they are doing the things they are doing.

Sometimes that means we have to debunk a few myths.

I love to walk.

But I don’t walk hard and fast in an attempt to increase my fitness or burn more calories -> I use strength training & short high intensity interval workouts for this purpose.

I walk because I want to live a long life and I want to be able to keep walking for as long as possible.

I walk because it’s good for my bones, my heart, my balance, my circulation, my joints and my brain.

I walk because I have an energetic dog who will be a pain in my butt if I don’t.

I walk because it feels great for my mind & mood. Sometimes I put in a podcast, sometimes I just take in my surroundings, sometime I daydream, sometimes I meet a friend for a walk & talk. In all cases, walking is great for my soul
