I understand how frustrating it can be when your body just doesn’t feel like it used to.

I know how much pain can get in the way of you enjoying your life and your family, but how it can often feel impossible to make time to look after yourself.

I understand how daunting it can seem to have a birth or recovery ahead of you when you are feeling weak and in pain.

The Glow Difference

I take the time to listen and understand your goals fully so that we can support you in getting the results you want.

My consultations are 60 minutes long (twice as long as standard), which gives us the time we need to thoroughly assess, diagnose and treat you, and also to develop a plan together so that you feel empowered to keep moving forward.

I offer a child-friendly environment as well as a mobile/home service to make scheduling appointments easier.

I provide online, customised exercise plans so that you never forget your exercises

I offer ongoing support via email for any of those questions that pop up outside of sessions.

Hi, I’m Libby!

I’m a physiotherapist who LOVES helping women feel their best.

I love working with women of all ages, but I particularly enjoy helping women through their pregnancies and well beyond to feel strong, capable and pain free.

I am a mum of three boys and know first-hand how physical this mum gig can be and how important it is to be on top of our game. I also understand how hard it can be for women to prioritise themselves … and this is where I come in!

I want to be on your team; to understand your goals and to empower you to get the results you want.

To make it as easy as possible for you to access great physio, GLOW offers both clinic appointments and home visits.

Clinic appointments are available from GLOW’s private Elanora clinic, and Home Visits can be arranged across some of the Gold Coast (check out FAQ for a full list of suburbs serviced).

Why reassurance works

We were taught in physio school to reassure people. Back then, I thought it meant a pat on the arm and a “there, there.” It sounded pointless to me, so I didn’t do it. I realise now that I just didn’t have enough experience as a 20-year-old to really know if the...

Watch your falls risk (as well as your bone density)

Don’t get me wrong. I want you to care about your bone density. I’m going to assume that you already know that poor bone health can lead to osteoporosis. You already know that women are more at risk of developing osteoporosis than men (largely due to the sharp drop in...

5 quick things

I'm keeping things short and sweet today, something that’s easy to read and quick to digest. You ready? I saw a quote this week by Brene Brown (love Brene) - "If you don't want to burnout, stop living like you're on fire." Don't you just love a good metaphor you can...

Do I Need a Doctors Referral to see a Physio?

No, you do not need a doctor’s referral to see a physiotherapist, unless you are seeking treatment under workers compensation, third party insurance (i.e car accident), or under Medicare’s Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) program. Either way, if your doctor has referred you for treatment, please bring with you any relevant test results and I will ensure your doctor receives regular updates on your treatment with me.

What is your service area for Home Visits?

GLOW Physio offers home visits across the southern Gold Coast and some of northern NSW.

Please get in touch if you would like to request a home visit.

What Should I Wear for my Appointment?

Generally comfortable clothing you can move easily in, but I have a whole lot of towels (and tricks) to work around most types of clothing.

How Long Will My Appointment Take?
I allow extended appointment times so that you don’t feel rushed and we have plenty of time to cover assessment, treatment and a home management plan.
  • Initial physio consults run for approx. 60mins
  • Follow up physio consults run for approx. 45mins
How Do I Pay for My Appointment?

Payment is taken on the day of treatment. I accept cash, eftpos, mastercard and visa (credit and debit). I also have a HICAPS machine to assist with processing of your private health rebate, although some health funds will require you to claim back via their app after your appointment.
