This morning, my oldest kid asked me a really cool question.

Just to prep you – this is the same kid who recently asked me:
“Have you had any good shower thoughts lately?”

And then followed it up with:
“Our eyeballs are probably never going to touch another person’s eyeballs.” 😂

So yes… deep thinker.

This morning he asked:

“What would your dream day look like, Mum… if you still had to do everything you have to do today?”

Same school run.
Same work.
Same dinner to cook.

Just… the best version of it.

I loved this question.

Because he wasn’t asking me to imagine some perfect, unrealistic day…

He was asking:

How do you make a normal day feel really good?

And it made me think about how we look after ourselves.

We often jump straight to:

“I’ll start when things calm down”
“Next week will be better”
“I just need a bit more time”

But what if the question isn’t:

“What would my perfect routine look like?”

What if it’s:

“What would looking after myself well look like… inside this actual day, as it is?”

For me, right now, that looks like:

✔️ a solid hit of protein at breakfast (I’m all in on this with our Protein & Fibre focus inside GLOW10 Tribe right now)
✔️ a short strength session (10–20 minutes is what I do most days anyway)
✔️ a bit of walking on the walking pad after a meal
✔️ some sunshine on my face
✔️ a few pages of my book before bed

Not aesthetic.
Not dependent on everything going perfectly.

Just… supportive.

And if I can get most of those things in? The day feels different.

My energy is better.
My patience is better.
Everything feels a little more doable.

So maybe that’s the question for today:

How do I make this day – this actual day – the best version of itself?

If you’re feeling inspired, reply and tell me what that looks like for you; I’d love to know 💛
