I’ve always been fascinated by the human behaviour side of exercise – why we do it, and why we don’t. And of course, the answer for each of us is different.

In my family:
Boy no 1 – just wants to rip the band-aid off, get it done fast and hard.
Boy no 2 – wants to win
Boy no 3 – is going to find a way to make it enjoyable

As @jamesclear says:

1. Decide what you want to achieve.
2. Try different ways of achieving it until you find one that works for you.
3. Do more of what works. Do less of what doesn’t.
4. Don’t stop doing it until it stops working.
5. Repeat.

It is both this simple and this hard.
