When Kate first came to see me, she said something I hear all the time:

“I can only seem to exercise if I’ve got someone pushing me.”

She thought this was a fixed personality trait.

She thought it meant she was unmotivated… or just not cut out for consistency.

And she was also finding it a block to fitting exercise in – because her time to get to the gym sessions were limited, and she was struggling to find a rhythm.

But after a few questions, it was clear:

She wasn’t just a lazy person who needed someone to crack a whip in order to exercise.

She was a ‘Cautious Mover’*- someone who lacked confidence to know what to do or if she was doing it right.
(*one of the six different exercise personality types in my Everyday GLOW Framework)

We worked out a strategy that matched her wiring:

✅ A short, repeatable routine she could do at home
✅ No decision-making required
✅ Just enough guidance to feel supported, but not overwhelmed
✅ A system to improve her confidence in movement and what her body was telling her

And it’s been a game changer -> She’s exercising consistently, for the first time in years.
