You’ve probably heard this advice before:
“The best exercise for you… is the exercise you do.”
And yes – if you’re not moving at all, starting with something you *enjoy* is a fantastic place to begin.
A dance class. A walk on the beach with a friend. A quick Pilates video.
If it gets you moving, that’s a win.
But here’s the truth: *that’s only part of the picture.*
If you want exercise to really work for you – to support your health, your strength, your energy, your confidence – you also need to know what kinds of movement actually deliver the most return for your effort.
This is where the 80/20 rule comes in.
Do the 20% that matters most, and you’ll see 80% of the results.
For me, at 40, that looks like:
💪 Strength training —> to build muscle and protect my bones
🔥 High intensity sprints in short bursts —> for fitness + metabolism
🚶♀️ Long walks —> for recovery, energy, and mental health
That’s *my* 20%.
Yours might look a little different, depending on your age, your goals, and your season of life.
👉 In this week’s podcast, I walk you through the exact steps I use with women to help them find *their* 20%; the kind of movement that actually delivers results without adding more overwhelm.
