As we step into a new year, I’ve been reflecting; not just on my own life and work, but on what I’ve seen play out again and again for women over the past 12 months.

And if I had to sum up my biggest learning from 2025, it would be this:

👉 There is no single “right” way. Only the right way for you, right now.

This past year, I watched some of the smartest people in women’s health argue about what women should be doing. I saw research interpreted in completely different ways. I watched products make bold promises, full of certainty.

But instead of providing clarity, it left many women feeling more overwhelmed and confused, not more empowered.

And if there’s one thing that really grinds my gears…it’s women being disempowered.

I’ve seen it in the research, and I’ve seen it in real life: women sitting in front of me saying, “I just don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing anymore.”

That’s the part that’s stuck with me. So heading into 2026, I’m making some very specific shifts; both for myself and for the women I work with.

What I’m leaving behind:

The “Optimal” Trap
The belief that things only work if we follow one specific way.
Unless you’re in the top 1% of what you’re trying to achieve (eg. training for the Olympics) chasing ‘optimal’ doesn’t matter nearly as much as building solid foundations.

Borrowed Certainty
Relying on loud voices or quick “hacks” instead of building your own understanding of how your body works.

All-or-Nothing Thinking
The idea that there’s no point if you can’t go all in.
I’ve seen it time and time again: big change is made up of lots of tiny parts. (You know I mean this one – I’ve built an entire strength training method on this.)

What I’m bringing forward:

Context over Rules
Helping you understand the why behind movement, so you can build trust in your body, and stop outsourcing your confidence.

Season-Based Training
Practicality over ideals. What worked for past-you might not suit current-you, or even today-you. That’s not failure. That’s being adaptable.

Strength as Support
Using intentional movement to build a body that feels capable and resilient; not one that constantly needs “fixing.”

But really, the biggest theme I’m carrying into this year is this:

👉 Your body isn’t a problem to solve.
It’s something to understand, support, and work with.

This year, I’m far less interested in ‘fixing’ you or telling you what you should be doing, and far more interested in helping you understand what your body actually needs, and finding a rhythm that works for you.

I’m so glad you’re here as this next chapter begins.
