Exercise is one of the most powerful tools we have to:
- prevent disease
- maintain mobility, and
- protect our quality of life as we age
It reduces the risk of chronic conditions like:
- osteoporosis
- heart disease
- certain cancers
- type 2 diabetes
- cognitive decline
It helps:
- boost energy
- improve balance
- support bone density
- preserve muscle mass
- enhance mental health and mood
And yet…
if you’re not currently in pain or chasing a big physical goal, that might not feel like a strong enough reason to start.
Because prevention isn’t urgent.
It doesn’t scream for your attention like an injury or a diagnosis does.
So if you keep telling yourself, “I know I should be exercising…” but still feel stuck — you might just be a Contented Cruiser.
My most recent Podcast episode is especially for the women who feel generally fine, aren’t unhappy in their bodies, and don’t need to exercise right now…
but still carry that quiet inner nudge that says:
You probably should.
Inside the episode, I’m unpacking:
— What it means to be a Contented Cruiser
— Why urgency matters for motivation (and what to do if you don’t have it)
— 3 simple tools to help you move from “I should” to “I’m so glad I did”
If that sounds like you, I’d love you to listen.
