If you’ve been trying to stick with movement alone, and it keeps falling apart, it’s not because there’s something wrong with you.

It’s because going solo is exhausting.

Science backs this up. Two of the strongest drivers of consistent action?
👉 Collaboration
👉 Competition

But what if committing to a full schedule of in person classes isn’t possible for you?

Maybe for you, it’s more realistic right now to:
➡️ exercise at home in your living room
➡️ go solo at the gym
➡️ Squeeze in 15 minutes before the school run or after work

Here’s the good news: You don’t have to be in the room with people to feel their energy.

Here are some of my favourite ways to tap into those consistency-boosting drivers, even online:

✨ Be mindful of what you’re consuming. Are you following accounts that inspire doable action—or ones that make you feel behind? Curate your feed to fuel, not deflate.
✨ Join online communities where others are building similar habits. Lurking helps. Engaging? Even better.
✨ Set a shared goal with a friend (movement, steps, protein, anything). Check in once a week, no pressure—just connection.
✨ Temptation bundle: schedule a walk-and-talk with someone you love. A little movement, a little catch-up.
✨ Use public wins or check-ins (like sharing your workout in stories) as light accountability. You never know who you’ll inspire.
✨ Celebrate mini milestones with someone. Don’t wait for big results. Name the reps, the rhythm, the showing up.

Knowing you’re not the only one trying is a game-changer.
