Recently, I finally recorded the first episode of my podcast 🎉 It’s something I’ve wanted to do for over a year.

I had the mic. The name. The ideas.

But I kept telling myself:
“I need a proper plan.”
“I should batch a few episodes first.”
“I’ll wait until I have more time.”

Sound familiar?

I see this in women all the time when it comes to movement too.
We wait until we:
✔️ Find the perfect plan
✔️ Feel more motivated
✔️ Get stronger, fitter, or “back on track” first

But what I’ve discovered after talking to thousands of women, is that it’s rarely about the plan, or the time, or the energy.

It’s about the beliefs we’ve picked up along the way.

The stories we tell ourselves about what exercise should look like. What “counts.” What doesn’t. What we’re allowed to do. And how we’ll feel if we don’t do it “right.”

Until we dig that stuff up, no amount of planning will get us moving.

So naturally, I made that the focus of my very first podcast episode:
