I’ve avoided yoga for years. I always felt out of my depth in classes.. Like I was the only one struggling to keep up.
I’d look around and think: “How is everyone else so calm and bendy?”

So I told myself I was “a Pilates person” instead. (Nice little excuse, right?)

But lately I’ve been doing short yoga sessions at home. Just me, that mat, and the awkwardness.
And you know what? It feels good.

Whether it’s meditation, running, or strength training, there’s probably something you’re avoiding too.
Not because you hate it. But because beginner energy is uncomfortable.

This reminded me:

  • We don’t hate moving.
  • We just hate the feeling of not being good at it yet.

That’s allowed. And it gets easier.
