Women’s Hiking Retreat
Terms & Conditions
**1. Tickets**
**1.1 Purchase of Tickets**
Tickets can be acquired exclusively through this website or by phone using a valid credit card. A deposit is required to confirm the booking. Payment is charged to your card upon booking, and bookings are considered confirmed only after payment is processed. The remaining amount must be settled no later than 3 weeks before the retreat departure. For bookings made within 4 weeks of the retreat, full payment is required. Payments can be made via credit card online over the phone or online, or through a direct bank transfer.
**1.2 For Early bird tickets, a 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking, and must be paid by the advertised end date.
**1.3 Confirmation and Waiver**
All attendees are required to sign a mandatory waiver. The mandatory waiver must be completed prior to the retreat or at the time of booking if booking within 31 days of the retreat.
**1.4 Minimum Travellers**
The Women’s Hiking Retreat requires a minimum of 8 travelers for confirmation. GLOW Physio reserves the right to cancel the retreat if the minimum number is not met.
**1.5 Outstanding Payment**
Following your initial deposit, you will receive a payment request for the remaining amount, which is due at least 3 weeks before the retreat.
**2. Cancellation Policy**
**2.1 Cancellation Timeline**
Cancellations made 60 days or more prior to arrival do not incur any cancellation charges.
**2.2 50% Cancellation Fee**
Cancellations made between 30 and 60 days before arrival may result in a 50% booking cancellation charge of the total booking cost, unless the spot can be filled.
**2.3 100% Cancellation Fee**
Cancellations made 30 days or less prior to arrival may incur a 100% booking cancellation charge of the total booking cost.
**2.4 No Shows and Late Cancellations**
No shows, cancellations after tour departure, failure to participate, or breach of Conditions of Entry are subject to a 100% cancellation fee. Except for your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, all bookings are final.
**2.5 Exceptions**
GLOW Physio reserves the right to make exceptions in cases of extenuating circumstances.
**2.6 Weather-Related Cancellations**
All attendees should expect cold weather & some light rain on the hike. In the case of a more significant weather event forecast, GLOW Physio will first try to adjust the location to avoid such weather conditions, but also reserves the right to cancel the retreat. In such cases, alternative options such as credit transfer, rescheduled tour dates, or refunds will be offered.
**2.8 Travel Insurance**
Travelers are required to have travel insurance covering various aspects, including retreat cancellations, loss of deposit, medical expenses, and more. GLOW Physio will not be held responsible for personal injury, property loss, or related expenses.
**3. Conditions for Participation**
To join the Women’s Hiking Retreat Tour, you must:
– Be at least 18 years old.
– Understand and adhere to safety guidelines presented in English.
– Show no signs of alcohol or drug use.
– Possess a moderate level of fitness to participate in scheduled activities.
– Disclose any health or medical condition that might affect your safe participation.
– Supply appropriate clothing and footwear.
– Sign the Waiver (either 6 weeks before the tour or at the time of booking, whichever is sooner).
**4. Medical Conditions**
**4.1 Health Declaration**
Participants must confirm they are medically, mentally, and physically fit for the Women’s Hiking Retreat as per our waiver.
**4.2 Notification of Changes**
Participants must promptly inform GLOW Physio (or Libby O’Sullivan) in writing of any alterations to their medical condition, fitness, or ability to participate in a tour.
**4.3 Seek Medical Advice**
If unsure, seek medical advice.
**4.4 Right to Deny Access**
GLOW Physio reserves the right to deny retreat access if they reasonably deem it unsafe for you to participate.
These Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of Queensland, with any disputes being exclusively under the jurisdiction of Queensland courts.
