EPISODE DESCRIPTION

If you’re someone who thrives on fresh starts and loves the buzz of a new workout plan – but struggles to keep going when life gets busy – this episode is for you.

This week, I’m talking directly to the All or Nothing Achievers; the women who go all in… until they can’t.

I’ve been there too. And while it once worked for me, it doesn’t anymore, and I know I’m not alone.

Inside this episode, I’m unpacking:
— Why your current feedback loop might be breaking your confidence
— What’s really going on when your plan falls apart
— The 3 tools I swear by to help you shift out of the all-or-nothing spiral

These strategies have helped me (and hundreds of other women) rebuild consistency without lowering the bar, just changing how we measure success.

Be Honest… All or Nothing Isn’t Working Anymore, Is It? Here’s a Better Way

l love a fresh start. A new challenge, a brand-new workout plan, the promise of this time will be different.

I get it. That used to be me too.

Before I had kids, I was a classic All or Nothing Achiever — all in, all the time. My routines were dialled in, I loved structure, and I got a genuine high from ticking things off and pushing through the hard stuff.

But after becoming a mum? My body changed. My priorities changed. And the plan that used to work? It just… didn’t.

I’d try to jump back into “how I used to do things,” only to fall short — not because I didn’t care, but because life just didn’t allow it. And when I couldn’t do it perfectly? I’d do nothing at all.

This is what I call the All or Nothing spiral.

The Problem Isn’t Motivation. It’s Your Feedback Loop.

The All or Nothing personality thrives on outcomes. On structure. On doing it right. But the problem is that when the plan slips (which it inevitably will), we default to guilt, shame, and self-blame.

Here’s what this looks like:

  1. Start strong.
  2. Miss a day.
  3. Feel like a failure.
  4. Stop completely.
  5. Plan to “start again Monday.”
  6. Repeat.

Even if you’re still doing something (like walking or stretching), in your mind, it doesn’t count — because it’s not what you planned.
And every time this cycle repeats, it slowly chips away at your self-trust.

Here’s the Shift That Changed Everything for Me

Let me be clear — I’m not asking you to lower your standards. I know how uncomfortable that can feel for All or Nothing Achievers.

But I am asking you to redefine your data points.
It’s not about whether you hit the goal exactly.
It’s about whether you stayed in motion.

3 Tools to Help You Break the All or Nothing Cycle

These are the tools I now use in my own life — and with hundreds of women inside the GLOW10 Tribe.

💡 1. Redefine the Win
Instead of asking: Did I do it perfectly?
Ask: Did I do something that helped me feel better today?
Let the win be about momentum — not perfection.

🕒 2. Use the 3-Day Rule
If you miss a day (or even two), no problem.
But get back to something within three days — no guilt, no punishment, no “starting again Monday.”

🪜 3. Set a Minimum Dose Workout
This is your “Plan B” and “Plan C.”
What can you do even when life feels chaotic?
It might be:

  • One GLOW10 session
  • A 5-minute walk
  • A few supersets or a movement snack

The goal here is to create a range, not a single perfect outcome.

You Don’t Need a Lower Bar. You Just Need Better Data.

You don’t have to give up the part of you that’s driven or ambitious. But if your old routines no longer work for your current life, it’s okay to find a new way.

You’re still the same strong, capable woman — but now, you get to build a version of consistency that’s flexible, forgiving, and far more sustainable.

✨ And yes, it still counts.

Because perfection isn’t the goal.
Sustainability is.
